SUMMER ARTS AND SPORTS ACADEMY
Horizons Leadership Project is offering FREE programming this summer for kids.
At a time when many youth providers are being forced to scale back or eliminate programs, and higher cost are making their programs more prohibitive, the Horizons Leadership Project will be adding two new programs to its sports & arts academies and continuing to do so free of charge. This summer Horizons will be offering three basketball programs (middle school aged boys & girls 11-14 years old, high school aged boys 15 & 16 years old), a visual arts program (11-16 years old), and a performing arts program (11 – 16 years old).
All of the programs will include summer reading & writing components, life-skill development workshops, health workshops, field trips across the city and a host of positive and inspiring guest speakers. All of the students will also be involved in service learning & community service projects. At a time when working classes, working poor and underprivileged families are struggling to find affordable high quality, safe spaces for their children during the summer months Horizons and its partners are offering just such opportunities for free!!! However, space is limited so please contact us!
